- For LYNX Technologies in New Jersey: Reviewed
corporate telecommunications networks for large multinationals. Generated

recovery structures with cost savings recommendations. Typical reported
cost savings were over $500Thousand per annum.
- For IntelliMark
in Pennsylvania: Implemented new networked workstations/servers and
administered the Windows NT Domain and Microsoft Exchange services for the
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and the Department of Agriculture state
agency.
- For PDA, Inc., in
New Jersey: Implemented a statewide Microsoft Windows NT network to
support an Oracle-based participant tracking application for the State of
New Jersey’s Women, Infant and Children program (WIC). Performed staging
and testing of workstations/servers and application prior to
implementation into each of the WIC Local Agencies.
- For Chemonics,
Int’l in the Ukraine: Performed a needs analysis for a data reporting
and information delivery system for the national agriculture commodities
market. Required in-field information gathering meetings with local
government officials requiring use of language translation services.
- For UNICEF in New York City: Developed an
intranet, web‑based, library catalog site
integrating vendor-generated content with custom-designed material.
Responsible for project design, management and implementation. The system
provides UNICEF offices worldwide direct access to central library content
to reduce library expenditures.
- For Lucent Technologies in New Jersey:
Analyzed in‑house legacy mainframe and
UNIX applications, and developed customized Lotus Notes databases for
storage and retrieval of collected information.
- For a
regional bank in Tanzania:
Researched and documented the business rationale for introducing a VSAT,
cellular, and data communications network to improve inter-branch
communications. Required in-field data gathering meetings. Responsible for
network design and RFP development.
BANKERS
TRUST COMPANY - Vice President Global Networks
- Managed
the planning, implementation, and operations of a corporate data, video and
voice network pilot in South Korea,
Hong Kong and New York,
and then a 17 site global expansion. Entire network was implemented
on-time and under budget. Worked closely with business managers to develop
service level agreements, minimize service cost, and meet business
objectives. Managed an annual operating budget of $13Million with a
professional staff of five engineers and 12 technicians. Required
significant international travel.
- Contributed
to the business justification model, requirements, specifications, RFP
development and vendor selection of the bank's first global communications
network. Interviewed senior level managers from the bank's nine
business units to assimilate current and future business goals to define
network requirements and manage cost expectations.
